                  The parent –teacher association gives respect and utmost importance to every parent’s view. Decisions for the development of the college are taken in consultation with every member of the parent-teacher association. The Parent –teacher association appoints guest lecturers and lab assistants to make up for the insufficient staff member strength. It also appoints watchmen and office assistants as and when necessary. The Parent –Teacher association funds are deposited in a separate bank account and spent according to the decision of the governing council, under principal’s directions.

                 The Parent Teacher Association has been functioning in our college from 1996. It was registered in 1999. (Reg.no 144/99). Students getting admitted pay Rs.10/-as membership fee and Rs.50/- as annual subscription and are given proper receipts . The staff members and parents function as representatives, comprising the governing council. Office bearers are appointed for a three year term. The principal is the ex-officio president of the Parent -Teacher Association. The general body meeting the parent –teacher association is conducted every month. The governing council of the parent –teacher Association meets in the principal’s office as and when it is necessary to take important decisions. In the meetings priority is given to the views of the parents. Parents extend their co-operation for the development of the college.

              With the permission of the DCE, every step is taken up after duly passing resolutions. The salaries of guest lecturers, non-teaching staff members and other expenses are recorded in the PTA cash book . The salary of teaching and non-teaching staff are raised by 10% every year.Every year, the teachers of our college pay subscription of Rs.250/- and it is deposited in the bank. Furniture for students and staff members were bought at a cost of Rs.3Lakhs. Every year, a shield at a cost of Rs.275/- is given to students who have stood first in their major subjects. 10 internet connections were given to each department under BSNL NMEICT scheme the expenditure for this was borne by PTA and the amount spent wasRs.12674/-

              
               We wish to record with pride that the Parent-Teacher Association has been constantly working for the benefit of the college and for the best interests of the students. We hope to be more and more useful to the college in days to come in upgrading and updating infrastructural facilities.
