I - Placement details of the academic year 2016 - 2017

In 2013, TANSCHE launched EDP (Enterpreneural Development Programme) in the Government institutions with an aim of promoting the students' employable skills. This cell has conducted various programmes to help the students get jobs easily in this competitive job market. This programme is well carried out under the Presidential ship of the Principal and Dr.A.Jayarani, Asst. Prof. of Commerce and Dr.S. Jayalakshmi, Astt.Prof. of Commerce are staff in-charge of the programme Every year the allotted fund is utilized for the benefit of the students and a statement of auditing is also submitted to the Government.

ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR 2015 - 2016

• On 13.08.2015Mr. J. NasarHussain, ALAQ Computers, Salem delivered a special lecture on "Importance of Computer Education" to B.Com. final year students.
• On 14.08.2015 Mr. Anwar Basha, AIRTEL Senior HR Consultant, Bangalore delivered a special lecture on "Placement Opportunities in IT sector" for final year B.Com. students.
• From 24.08.2015 to 01.09.2015 Mr. Sundar, CCI Computer Education, Salem delivered a special lecture on "Advanced Technologies in Computers" to all the final year UG students and on the same day scholarship exams also conducted for the Computer courses conducted by the CCI Computer Education, Salem.
• On 04.09.2015, Knowledge Institute of Technology conducted an off campus drive of TECH MAHENDRA. In that 150 UG final year students participated and Mythili of III B.Sc. Mathematics qualified for final round.
• On 14.09.2015, Dr. A. Alxander, Member of SEBI, Trichy delivered a special lecture on "Financial Planning for middle income groups" for50 B.Com. final year students.
• On 08.12.2015, Knowledge Institute of Technology conducted an off campus drive for WIPRO (Project Engineer). In that 12 M.Sc. Computer Science students participated.
• On 11.01.2016, Dr. S. Jeyalakshmi and Dr. S. Revathi, Placement officers attended the placement officers meeting at Periyar University.
• On 12.01.2016, Mr. Sukumar, General Manager, Kalvi Group of Institutions, Madurai delivered a special lecture on "Importance of International Certifications" to all UG final year students.
• On 19.01.2016, Airavath Technologies Private Limited conducted a workshop on "Awareness about Advanced Technologies and recent trends in software" to all UG final year students.
• On 21.01.2016, Techruit Company conducted a model assessment test to the final year students. In that UG students participated and benefited.
• On 28.01.2016, Knowledge Institute of Technology conducted an off campus drive for recruitment in WIPRO. In that 26 B.Sc. Computer Science students participated.
• On 28.01.2016 Prof. N. Chandrasekar delivered a special lecture on "SEBI financial education" to all final year UG and PG commerce students.
• On 26.02.2016, Knowledge Institute of Technology conducted an off-campus drive for MPHASIS Company. In that 48 UG final year students participated.
• On 29.02.2016, we conducted an On campus drive-2016 for BR Info Solutions. In that, 246 UG final year students participated and 25 students selected.
• On 07.03.2016, an On-campus drive conducted for On - Campus Drive - ICICI, HDFC, FSS Technologies, Chennai and Bangalore, Net ambit solutions, Chennai & IDBI. In that 152 students participated and 41 students got selelcted.

Our College students are getting good benefits from Placement cell and we are arranging several companies to give awareness about placement program, current needs of the market, how to develop the communication skills, personality oriented programs, etc. We are arranging campus and off campus placement programs due to the programs many students are attending interviews and some students are recruited by companies.
